Joe Biden Says Nation Must Spend More – or Go Broke!
Joe Biden speaking at the AARP yesterday gave a huge insight into Liberal Economics when he said we must spend even more money or we will go broke! The audio is a little hard to here so here is a transcript:
BIDEN: The president knows and I know that the status quo is simply not acceptable. It’s totally unacceptable. And it’s completely unsustainable.
Even if we wanted to keep it the way we have it, we can’t do it financially. WE’RE GONNA GO BANKRUPT AS A NATION. Now people say why do you say that… unintelligible… YOU’RE TELLING THEM THAT WE GOTTA SPEND THE MONEY TO KEEP FROM GOING BANKRUPT? THE ANSWER IS YES. I’M TELLING YOU!
Yup. And after Sept 11th President Bush told us all not to worry, but to go shopping. Its a great team building exercise in a capitalist economy to go out and shop for worthless crap.
