New York City Experiences Coolest June in 51 Years

New York City has experienced its coolest June in 51 years.?? It hasn’t been this cool in Central Park since 1958!? Global warming advocates keep telling us that “one day, one week, one month” doesn’t make a trend, but they’ve been telling us that for four to five years now!? WHEN does it become a trend?

The alarmists say that the “deniers” are anti-science and anti-intellectual.? Yet we go by what the actual evidence shows.? The alarmists go only by what questionable computer models show.? If the climate cools but they’re told by scientists that computer models project a warming then they will believe it’s warming – despite the actual evidence which shows the climate has slightly cooled over the last three to five years.

Of course it’s not scientific to simply look at a thermometer.? It’s much more sophisticated to follow computer models.? But what if those models aren’t making accurate predictions?? I would like someone who believes in global warming to come forward and tell us which computer model predicted this mid- to late-decade cooling trend?? Did the computer models produced last year predict this?? Did they predict this would be the coolest summer for most of the country in 40-50 years?? And if not, then how can people continue to put so much on the line for what is proving to be obvioulsy flawed predictive models?

There are no known computer climate models that predicted any kind of cooling during this decade. ?Not models created a year ago, 5 years ago, 10 or 15 years ago, yet we’ve had a slight worldwide cooling trend for almost half a decade now. ?In fact, in the 1980s scientistific models predicted a continual steady warming that would parallel the continuous increase in carbon dioxide. ?No computer model suggested that there would be a half-decade cooling trend in the late 2000s.

In an August 22, 1981 New York Times article it was reported that, “A team of Federal scientists says it has detected an overall warming trend in the earth’s atmosphere extending back to the year 1880. They regard this as evidence of the validity of the ”greenhouse” effect, in which increasing amounts of carbon dioxide cause steady temperature increases.” However, the temperature increases have been anything but steady. ?This summer alone has been the coolest summer in many areas of the world in more than 50 years. ?That’s anything but evidence of a “steady incrase” in temperatures. Yet we’re told we have to trust the predictions of these same models for 50 years out!

When they get next year right, I’ll start listening!
