Liberal Lie #1: Waterboarding Doesn’t Produce Any Valid Intelligence. This lie is so easy to spot because Obama recently declassified top-secret documents to inform the world not only of the fact that we did waterboard, but of the amazingly humane way in which we did it.   But, he refused to declassify and release other papers that showed the waterboarding produced actionable intelligence information which led to the stopping of a major terror plot in Los Angeles and another one in London.

Potentially tens of thousands of lives were saved because of this, yet the Left wants you to believe it did no good at all. Congressional Republicans have now come forward to say that they were briefed and were told that vital information was extracted after waterboarding three of the terrorists held there. And how did Democrats respond to this revelation? They expressed dismay that their Republican counterparts dared to say what they were told in classified meetings. However, they expressed nothing but approval when Obama (the only one who can) de-classified the half of the story that supports their LIBERAL LIE!

Liberal Lie #2: And this is the big one -  GLOBAL WARMING. There is so much evidence that this beloved belief is untrue that it’s hard to know where to start.  The latest news has the Vice Chairman of the IPCC itself saying global warming is nothing to worry about.  Full Details Here .

Liberals are fond of telling us that the polar ice sheets are melting, however, that’s not even true!  Read Here.

But for the real clincher, look at how liberals want to “solve” “global warming”.  They want to tax and regulate us to death.

Liberal Lie #3: Bush Lied People Died. It is often said that Bush lied about Iraq having Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) in order to get America to use military force to overthrow Saddam Hussein. However, those who claim this are never able to show ANY evidence that Bush or anyone else knew this not to be true.  In fact, not only did Bush think it was true, so did the Russian, French and Chinese intelligence services.  So did John Kerry, Bill and Hillary Clinton as well as Al Gore.

In 1999, all of these people said they believed Saddam had WMD.  Even during the 2008 presidential election, Hillary Clinton was asked whether she had relied on the Bush assessment before voting to approve the Iraqi war.  Clinton said that no she hadn’t.  She said she had instead relied on the assessments of people who had been in her husband’s administration.  They agreed with Bush and she therefore voted to approve the war.

Liberal Lie #4: We went into Iraq for the oil. Again, not one shred of evidence exists to substantiate this lie. If we went in for the oil, you would then expect us to have immediately taken over the oil fields and gotten them up and running as quickly as possible, while pocketing the profits.  However, to this day – some 6 years later – the oil fields are barely up and running, not producing much profit and we’re not taking a drop of oil or a dime or profits from the Iraqi oil fields.

Liberal Lie #5:  We’re at war with Islam. We are told on the one hand by liberals that we’re at war with Islam because we’re at war with al-Qaida, the Taliban and Saddam Hussein.  However, we’re also told that the Taliban, al-Qaida and Saddam Hussein are aberations from Islam and have nothing to do with Islam – the religion of peace.  So how can we be at war with Islam, if we’re at war with factions of Islam that Liberals tell us aren’t representative of the “real” Islam!?

Liberal Lie #6:  Liberals are pro-women. No, no: liberals are pro-liberal women — as long as they know their place. When Hillary Clinton did the most admirable thing in her entire political career, trying to pull out a come-from-behind win against Barack Obama, the long knives on the Left even came out for her.

Liberal Lie #7:  Liberals look out for black Americans. Really? How? By destroying black families with welfare? By championing releasing black criminals back into their communities? By standing up for rioters? By getting promising black college students into schools they’re likely to flunk out of via Affirmative Action? By making parasitic buffoons like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton into representatives of black Americans in the eyes of most of the country? The biggest obstacle black Americans face today is not racism; it’s the paternalistic, “You poor thing! You need our help to make it day-to-day” attitude of liberals that has shattered the black family in a way that even slavery and Jim Crow laws couldn’t.

Liberal Lie #8:  Liberals are compassionate. Liberals love nothing better than to talk about how compassionate and caring they are for the poor — but, only when other people’s money is involved. Studies consistently show that conservatives give more money to charity than liberals. What’s supposed to be compassionate about robbing Peter to pay Paul to vote for you?

Liberal Lie #9:  Liberals are intellectuals. Liberals portray themselves as brilliant intellectuals who are so much smarter than the riff-raff out there in flyover country. Meanwhile, back in the real world, they run presidential campaigns based on “hope” and “change” and the intellectual roots of their philosophy could be explained by a caveman. Abortion good! People who want to stop abortions bad, bad, bad! Gay marriage good! People who want to protect marriage bad, bad, bad. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a college professor, a rocket scientist, or Barack Obama — they all turn into cousin Cletus, the mountain simpleton who lives out by the hog pen, when you try to get them to explain why they believe what they believe.

Liberal Lie #10:  Liberals are tolerant. Liberals are extremely tolerant — of people who agree with them or of anyone who hates America. They’re also completely tolerant of anyone whose lifestyle is in direct opposition to Judeo-Christian principles and values. Everybody else? Not so much. If you happen to say, try to give a conservative speech on a college campus, say that you believe marriage should be between a man and a woman after you’re asked about it in a beauty pageant, or believe science has led you to draw a different conclusion than liberals have in regard to global warming or evolution, you’re not going to see much tolerance on display. In other words, the liberal idea of tolerance is, “I agree with what you say, I’ll defend to the death your right to say it — and the rest of you need to be quiet.”

Liberal Lie #11:  Gun control reduces crime. Gun control potentially causes an increase in crime by restricting its main deterrent: self-defense. In the United States, law-abiding uses of guns outnumber criminal uses by about a factor of 1000 to 1, and the removal of guns from everyone eliminates the lawful use of self-defense and its deterrent effect.

Specific examples of guns being used successfully in self-defense are easy to find.  “In 1982, a survey of imprisoned criminals found that 34% of them had been “scared off, shot at, wounded or captured by an armed victim.”  When Florida began allowing its citizens to carry a concealed weapon, Florida’s firearm homicide rate fell by 37% while the national average increased by 15%.
