Liberal Policies Make Most Dangerous Cities
Here is irrefutable evidence that liberal policies make cities more dangerous. The top 10 most dangerous cities in America are not only ALL run by liberal Democrats now, but most of them have been for decades. Only someone who refuses to let the facts interfere with what they want to believe could not learn the obvious lessons from this. (The most obvious lesson being: if you want a more dangerous city – vote DEMOCRAT).
The following cities are listed in order of Most Dangerous to least. They are all in the Top 10 Most Dangerous Cities as listed by the FBI as of 2007. (2007 is the most recent year reported) DETROIT – run by a 31-year-old far-left DEMOCRATIC mayor from 2002-2008. Kwame Malik Kilpatrick is the only mayor in the history of Detroit to be charged with a felony while in office. He was charged with two counts of obstruction of justice, and he even has a suspicious murder surrounding him. Detroit of course has been run by Democrats for decades. (Note it is the first most dangerous city in the nation – controlled by Democrats for as long as anyone can remember)!
ST. LOUIS – run by Francis G. Slay – DEMOCRAT – since 2001. And St. Louis has been controlled by Democratic mayors since 1953 ! (Note it is the second most dangerous city in the nation – controlled by Democrats since 1953).
MEMPHIS – The current mayor is W.W. Herenton. Memphis doesn’t track mayors by political party – but he’s a DEMOCRAT and has been mayor for 17 years, since 1992.
OAKLAND, CA – The current mayor Ronald Dellums is a self-described SOCIALIST ! He became mayor January 8, 2007. (these crime statistics are for 2007 – they’re the latest available from the FBI) Jerry Brown preceded him beginning in 1999. And I think we all know Jerry is a Socialist who calls himself a Democrat. Way to go Jerry. Your socialist policies have really improved safety in Oakland. You should be proud of your achievements. Fifth most dangerous city in America.
BALTIMORE – controlled by Mayor Sheila Dixon – DEMOCRAT . Baltimore has been run by Democrats since 1959 (with a four-year interval of Republican governance from 1963-1967).
ATLANTA – the home of the first black mayor in the country, Maynard Jackson elected in 1974. Atlanta has been run by DEMOCRATS since 1879!!
NASHVILLE – run by William Paxson Purcell III since 1999. Purcell is a DEMOCRAT .
MINNEAPOLIS – is of course run by a DEMOCRAT – like all our top 10 most dangerous cities. R.T. Rybak has the honors here. He has run Minneapolis since 2002. And Democrats have run Minneapolis since 1974.
MIAMI – Mayor Manuel (Manny) Diaz was elected mayor in 2001. He calls himself an independent but he spoke at the 2008 DEMOCRATIC National Convention and endorsed Barack Obama for president.
PHILADELPHIA – the safest of the 10 most dangerous cities is also of course run by a DEMOCRAT – Michael Nutter, became mayor in 2008. Philadelphia has been run by Democrats since 1956!
I don’t know what could be more clear folks. Liberal democratic policies are FAILURES when it comes to domestic security. Are liberals soft on crime? YES! And it’s no longer a gratuitous insult to say so. Here are the irrefutable facts – the most dangerous cities in America are run by liberal Democrats and most have been for many decades.
Conservative policies on the other hand have proven most effective at reducing crime. You might remember Rudy Giuliani who took over from decades of failed Democratic rule in New York City and turned the most dangerous big city in the nation into the safest city in the nation.
You gotta love the way liberal apologists will say many factors go into crime. They’ll blame the economy, they’ll blame education… but they’ll never blame politicians. Could it be because they know the people who run the most dangerous cities in America are all LIBERALS?
When should we start to lay some blame at their feet?
