WHEN IS OBAMA GOING TO BE HELD TO THE SAME STANDARD HE HELD BUSH TO?
108 Days into Barack Obama’s administration his largest campaign promise still goes unfulfilled. He promised that closing Gitmo would be his administration’s top and first priority! He swore that the illegal, immoral holding of hostages there was a disgrace to the Bush administration and robbed America of the moral authority to say "terrorism is bad"! Other Democrats, starting with Harry Reid compared Gitmo to the gulag and other atrocities like those committed by Pol pot. However, now that Obama is president, you’ve heard no more complaints about this. No more America-bashing using Gitmo as the excuse. In fact, Obama and the Democrats seemed to have warmed up quite a bit to Guantanamo. Conservative Americans predicted this long before the election. In fact it was entirely predictable. Anyone who voted for Obama because this was an issue for them was not a clear thinker. And for my Gitmo-hating liberal friends, here’s how clear thinking goes on this issue. Your man becomes president and fulfills his promise to close Guantanamo. All you have to do is ask yourself just how would that look in practice. And here’s how it would look:
1. The spectacle of terrorists being set free on the streets of America would be nearly enough to ruin the Messiah’s public opinion polls.
2. If, God forbid, there were to be another terrorist incident on our soil anytime after their release, the blame would be laid squarely on Obama and his weakness on terror.
So Obama promised during the campaign he would close Gitmo, knowing his Leftist supporters would not have the intellectual capacity to figure this out. Then he knew when he got into office he could keep them appeased by signing an order to close it, while at the same time leaving it open.
Now the Attorney General has come out and said they will not release any "real" terrorists from Guantanamo. And he admits there are some real terrorists there. Since no other country is willing to take them (whatever happened to all the cooperation we were going to get after Obama’s election), that means Gitmo will have to stay open permanently.
Something I predicted. Something Rush Limbaugh predicted. Something any clear thinking individual could have predicted. Â In fact, you can use this as a test to determine how clearly you think. Â Did you know this would happen? Â If so, you are a clear thinker!
Obama does not adhere to the same standards as the rest of America and he has fooled many into thinking that he is America’s savior. This nation is based on the Christian god and Obama has circumvented much of what we stand for. Obama wins and destroys this nation as well as the world in the end. A gambler sometimes does not know when to stop. A cocaine smoker continues his habits. Gay people believe that what they are doing is right and not a sin against God. Obama and his people (especially, shame on him, David Axelrod, a Jew) have circumvented the US Constitution, the court system, and made many influential friends with money. If I try to bring God to China, I am sure that Obama and his people will put a stop, either overtly or covertly, to my activities. Obama is a brave man, fearless, and not afraid of going against the will of God.
May Obama have his day and may it be God who prevails upon this earth and it would most certainly be nice for this nation to be saved from Obama and his people!

First of all, what? When has Obama circumvented the US Constitution? If anything, you could say keeping people locked up in a cell indefinitely is more of a breach of Habeus Corpus, which is in our Constitution, than anything else. And, I hate to break it to you, all that was started under George Bush. By the by, they have been releasing the prisoners slowly, but surely.
Yes, Obama did say he would close Gitmo within the first year, I believe. To me, that’s better than having people sitting around guarding aging guys indefinitely. This all could have been avoided if Bush had tried all the prisoners and at least attempted to be legitimate about this whole operation, instead of blatantly violating human rights. Also- Sir, do you really think guys who have been literally on an island for the past 7 years will have a damned clue about what’s going on? Stick them with tracking devices, set ‘em free. Follow the smoke back to the source of the fire. You neo-cons should have the intelligence to figure that out.
Also, Him Yao Sui, you can go to China and preach the Gospel, but, unfortunately, it will be the Chinese who will stop you. See…they don’t share our conviction of freedom of religion. Which, unfortunately for you, includes people who think this God fellow is a huge tool, doesn’t exist, and if he did, he would have sent more than one person over 2000 years ago to atone for our sins. Further, Jesus was a JEW. Your savior was a Jew, so perhaps you should be looking to the Jews to produce his second coming, right?
