New York City has experienced its coolest June in 51 years.   It hasn’t been this cool in Central Park since 1958!  Global warming advocates keep telling us that “one day, one week, one month” doesn’t make a trend, but they’ve been telling us that for four to five years now!  WHEN does it become a trend?

The alarmists say that the “deniers” are anti-science and anti-intellectual.  Yet we go by what the actual evidence shows.  The alarmists go only by what questionable computer models show.  If the climate cools but they’re told by scientists that computer models project a warming then they will believe it’s warming – despite the actual evidence which shows the climate has slightly cooled over the last three to five years.

Of course it’s not scientific to simply look at a thermometer.  It’s much more sophisticated to follow computer models.  But what if those models aren’t making accurate predictions?  (more)

Polls show that 57% of Obama voters last year thought Congress was controlled by Republicans!  (yes, it’s true. Zogby Poll)

And Obama voters were very upset with Congress  (The Congressional approval  rating was about a third of Bush’s approval rating.  Congressional approval was at 9%).  They wanted a CHANGE in Congress, so Obama voters voted Republicans out (because they thought Republicans controlled congress)! But actually Democrats controlled congress so they voted in more of the people they were angry with!

And I predict the anger will continue.  The Wall Street Journal had articles today detailing how congress is continuing to abuse the American people. (more)

Even CBS’ Chip Reid and AP’s Helen Thomas are starting to see through the lack of transparency in the Obama administration.  This guy Gibbs is so smarmy though. Geesh. He thinks he’s there to do standup comedy… apparently forgetting he’s the press secretary to the President of the United States.

Why I dumped Obama’s party

I was on political easy street as a Democrat.  President Obama, the party head, is a political rock star in America and a near-god in Amsterdam and Cairo.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is portrayed as grown too big to fail, and he’s convinced everyone who’s anyone in my home city of Las Vegas to join him on the Obama freight train to socialism. Next stop: Rationed health care, union card check and $10-a-gallon gasoline. All aboard!

Democrats own Washington, D.C., as well as the Nevada Legislature.

Meanwhile, Nevada’s Republican “Luv Guv,” Jim Gibbons, couldn’t be on a more prolonged hard-luck streak. He’s in the divorce from hell with the first lady, who for a time holed herself up in the Governor’s Mansion; his staff regularly jumps ship; and rumor has it that the governor’s dog has obtained a restraining order. A disturbing picture has taken shape since Obama’s speech to the Muslim world from Cairo University.  It is a picture of a man who has a historically inaccurate and morally-relativistic view of the world.  For most men an inaccurate view of history simply makes them uninformed, but for a president, an inaccurate view of the world makes him extremely dangerous.

In this case, moral relativism and historical inaccuracy have produced an American president who cannot condemn murder on the part of Islamic regimes.  Let’s take a look at some of Obama’s own words. (more)
